Thai Wisdom Passed Down Over 2500 Years

Traditional Thai massage is said to have originated more than 2,500 years ago with the Buddha's personal physician. Since then, it has been handed down and developed in every region of Thailand.

Traditional Thai massage believes that there is a myriad of energy paths  "SEN" that stretch throughout the body.

By stimulating the sen using various parts and techniques such as palms, fingers, elbows, knees, feet, etc., it promotes blood and lymphatic flow, relieves stiffness and fatigue, and enhances the natural healing power that each person has. The goal is to bring the body back to energy.

Modern Japanese people are exposed to stress not only at work but also in their daily lives.

The unconsciously felt stress slows down the circulation of the body, and stiffens the muscles of the whole body, the internal organs, the mind, and the facial expression.

Easy to get tired, hard to get rid of fatigue, easy to gain weight, drowsiness, insomnia, dullness of the body, etc. Before you know it, your body is in a bad state.

In addition, it is easy to get irritated, depressed, annoyed, aggressive, and so on.

We tend to think that it is due to age, but in fact, there are many cases where the body and mind are no longer in their original state due to stress.

Thai traditional massage loosens the whole body little by little with a relaxed rhythm, loosens the body, promotes the flow of blood and lymph throughout the body, carries blood to every corner, activates the body, and brings it closer to the original body. It leads to going.

The body and mind are closely related.

When your body relaxes, your mind also relaxes, and your complexion and facial features change.

Forget the busyness and fatigue of everyday life, and enjoy a moment of care for yourself and your body while slumbering between sleep and wakefulness.

Thai Wisdom Passed Down Over 2500 Years

Traditional Thai massage is said to have originated more than 2,500 years ago with the Buddha's personal physician. Since then, it has been handed down and developed in every region of Thailand.

In addition to the traditional Thai massage technique, there are other things that have been handed down to the present as folk medicine and traditional medicine in authentic Thailand.

At JingJai, we incorporate such things into our treatments.

talksen

A traditional treatment method that is transmitted to the city of Chiang Mai in northern Thailand called "Toke Sen" that uses a mallet (cone) and a wooden stick (rim).

The cone and rim are used to hit tense tendons and muscles and send out vibrations.

A pleasant clanging sound and vibrations echo through your body.

Vibration that reaches deep into the body relieves muscle tension and relaxes the body.

*Traditional Toksen is used with cones and rims made from "lightning-struck wood". JingJai uses cones and rims made from lightning-struck wood, which are hard to come by these days.

"Yufai" which means "by the fire" in Thai

Yu-Fai is a traditional Thai postpartum care that was created for postpartum women's physical recovery and mental care. U-FAI is a treatment course that combines various treatment methods.

It has the meaning of being by the fire, and every treatment method warms the body. And it is also characterized by using plenty of Thai herbs.

The Thai herbs used have effects such as promoting blood circulation, expelling lochia, removing swelling, helping wound recovery, relieving muscle pain, beautifying the skin, and stabilizing the mind.

The body that protected the baby on October 10th and changed. I am very exhausted after giving birth.

In the state of the body that seems to be seriously injured, child-rearing begins without waiting. Also, changes in hormonal balance can make your mind very unstable.

U-Fai's treatment is wrapped in a gentle massage and the good scent and warmth of herbs to warm the mind and body, heal the fatigue of child-rearing, and help the body to return to its original state after pregnancy and childbirth.

After finishing, you can feel that your body is still warm.

Uphi started as postpartum care, but it can be expected to be effective in treating various menstrual problems and menopausal symptoms because it improves circulation around the uterus.

It is said that postpartum care will lead to the prevention of future menopausal symptoms, and in Thailand, it is said that having a wife receive postpartum care is also worthwhile for a husband.

A woman's smile is directly connected to the smile and energy of her family.

I feel that healing the tired body and mind from childbirth and childcare will lead to the happiness of the family.

Yufai in Thailand continues a course of about 3 to 4 hours a day every day for a month.

We prepare for 120 minutes so that you can take it without difficulty in Japan. It is effective if you take it regularly.

At JingJai, in addition to the Yu-Fai course for postpartum care, we also offer “Herb Ball” and “Herb Sauna”, which are one of the Yu-Fai treatment methods, as menus.
